NoodleTools:
simple digital organization

Dumb name, smart site
One of the most difficult aspects to I-Search os keeping track of everything.   Which sources did you look at?  Which ones did you take notes on?  Which source is THIS note from?  How do I organize all these individual ideas?

This electronic resource is a very good tool to help you manage the swarms of information that will soon engulf you...

First Steps: Checkpoint 2

  1. GO TO NOODLETOOLS-
    (click link)

  2. LOGIN WITH GOOGLE -You will be prompted to login.  Choose the Google login icon at the bottom. You'll probably be logge-in automatically. IOf not, use your school credentials.
  3. CREATE A NEW PROJECT -It's the green button in the upper right corner.
    Call it "(lastname), I-Search."
    Choose:
    • Citation Style: MLA
    • Citation Level: Advanced
  4. SHARE WITH MY INBOX-  Hover under the "Sharing" header and click the plus sign and select "Share with Teachers Inbox".  Type Prince I-Search.
  5. SIMPLE AS THAT- You've met your checkpoint when I can see your project in my inbox..
The best way to avoid plagiarism is to take careful notes. In research, you should cite everything you borrow unless that information is common knowledge.
